Your No Insurance Club membership includes your doctor's office visits up to your plan maximum (12 visits per year for Single or Couples plan and 16 visits per year for Family plan). Additional services may be provided at no additional charge and vary by each doctor participating in the No Insurance Club. Are pre-existing conditions covered by my membership?

Pre-existing conditions are no problem -- No Insurance Club has no exclusions for pre-existing conditions.

How much will it cost for services not included in the membership?

Each doctor participating in the No Insurance Club is responsible for determining the pricing of their services. Please inquire with your No Insurance Club physician to obtain their fee schedule for additional services.

Can I add or delete a member on my plan after I have paid my membership?

Once you have paid for your membership, your plan is finalized, so please select your plan carefully. An exception is if you purchase a Family Plan and need to later add a newborn or newly-adopted child to your list of participating family members.

Can I change plans (i.e. from Single to Family)?

Once you have paid for your membership, your plan is finalized, so please select your plan carefully. An exception is if you purchase a Family Plan and need to later add a newborn or newly-adopted child to your list of participating family members.

Can I cancel my membership and get a refund?

No Insurance Club membership fees are non-refundable.

What is the No Insurance Club definition of a family for the Family Plan?

A family is considered to be one or two adults and any number of their biological or adoptive children under the age of 25 years old. All family members must reside in the same household, with the same physical and mailing address, and must be treated by the same No Insurance Club doctor (or medical practice). Exceptions to these conditions would result in the need to purchase a new plan (i.e. purchase a Single Plan for a child away at college). Names and dates of birth for all family members are to be provided at the time of enrollment.

What is the No Insurance Club definition of a couple for the Couples Plan?

A couple is considered to be two adults living in the same household, with the same physical and mailing address, and treated by the same No Insurance Club doctor (or medical practice). A couple may also be considered to be one parent and their biological or adoptive child also meeting the above conditions. Names and dates of birth for covered members are to be provided at the time of enrollment.

Can I see a specialist under my plan?

Your No Insurance Club membership does not currently provide for services provided by specialists. As a result, if you elect to see a specialist you will need to either pay for their services directly to the provider or you may inquire with your insurance company to find out if they are covered under your insurance plan (if applicable).

Can I change doctors?

Your No Insurance Club membership plan is directly linked to the provider you select, so please choose your physician carefully. If you need to change doctors, you may change providers up to 12 times per year. The first change is free, but each additional change will require that you pay 25% of your membership fee to your current physician.

Are hospital or urgent care services covered by my NIC plan?

Your membership through the No Insurance Club is designed for routine and preventative healthcare in your doctor's office. Hospital and/or urgent care services are not covered, so you will be responsible for paying for those services or you may inquire with your insurance company to see if they are covered under your insurance plan (if applicable).

How often can I see my doctor?

The No Insurance Club does not limit the frequency of your visits to your doctor. You are covered for up to 12 visits per year under the Single or Couples Plan, and up to 16 visits under the Family Plan.

What if I run out of doctor visits before the year ends?

If you use all of your No Insurance Club plan visits before the year ends, you may purchase an additional plan to provide for the additional doctor visits you need.

How can I get my current doctor to sign up?

Tell your current doctor about the No Insurance Club and send them to our website at www.noinsuranceclub.com. Our staff will contact them to provide information about the Club. You may check back with us to see if they have joined, as physicians are joining the Club every day. You may also contact us directly at 877-686-CLUB to refer your doctor, and we'll contact them about our program.

Can I pay for my NIC membership out of my Healthcare Savings Account through my employer?

Yes, you may pay for your No Insurance Club membership from your company's Healthcare Savings Account. Ask your Human Resources contact for details.

Will my NIC membership fee be applied towards my insurance company's annual deductible?

Your No Insurance Club membership is not related to or associated with any insurance coverage you may have. As a result, your membership fee would not be applied to your annual deductible.

I can't afford to pay in full for my membership at this time. What financing options are available?

If you have a Healthcare Spending Account (HSA) through your employer, please contact your Human Resources department to inquire about paying for your membership with your HSA. CareCredit® provides no interest patient payment plans - visit them at www.carecredit.com. You may also contact your No Insurance Club doctor to see if their office can assist you with payment arrangements.

I am a No Insurance Club patient member - How do I change my address, email address or phone number?

You should report your change of address, phone number or email address to your doctor's office.

What happens to my coverage if I move out of the area?

Your No Insurance Club membership plan is directly linked to the provider you select, so please choose your physician carefully. You may change providers up to 12 times per year.
