Let’s talk about health care, because face it, that’s what we do. Sure, we blog about the health care crisis and politics, and we dabble in stirring the pot here and there, but beneath it all, at the core of what the No Insurance Club does, is promote affordable health care. It’s that simple.
The No Insurance Club began when a doctor in small-town Arizona realized that there was a better way to give his family patients the care they needed. There was a better way to make time to spend with them during their visits, lower their costs, and give them the treatments they deserved. I guess you could say it’s a cross between concierge medicine and your regular family physicians’ plan, but with the No Insurance Club you still get the VIP treatment for half the cost.
We’re not a scam, not trying to take anyones money and run. We’re a legitimate venture that is saving families thousands every year. Our Co-Founder once told me that the No Insurance Club was not about making any money, it was about getting this message out there that affordable health care is an option. Of course, coming from a doctor I didn’t believe him. But, then I spent time with the owners and the people behind the scenes, and these are passionate people who truly want to be able to provide affordable health care.
If you were to spend a day at the No Insurance Club headquarters in Mesa, Arizona, you’d get a glimpse into the work and heart that goes into this venture. Every headline that talks about health care is discussed and argued about. Every speech the President gives, or measure that congress passes it debated. The No Insurance Club is full of people who simply want to bring affordable health care to families who are struggling.
Is it a solve-everything solution to our health care crisis? No. But the No Insurance Club is working diligently to forge partnerships with hospitals, specialists, and doctors around the nation to bring the best and most affordable health care coverage to hard-working Americans.
