Every celebrity has suffered from extreme exhaustion at some point in their careers, and now Susan Boyle is no exception. Since Boyle’s instant rise to fame, life has become much different for the British spinster. After the season finale of “Britain’s Got Talent,” where Susan Boyle was outvoted by only about four-percent, she was rushed to a local clinic for exhaustion.
Exhaustion, also known as fatigue, is a commonly rising affliction that many people deal with on a daily basis. With our quick-paced lives and always-on-the-go families, extreme exhaustion, like that of Boyle’s, can happen to anyone.
What should have Susan Boyle done to avoid such an extreme and end up in the hospital? Well, after asking a few of our No Insurance Club doctors about exhaustion, they certainly had a few things to say.
Exhaustion is completely preventable. It is a condition unlike many others because it is a result of your actions. Simply put, if Susan Boyle had not been the star of “Britain’s Got Talent,” she would not have worked herself to extremes and wouldn’t have been rushed to the hospitals. Take some time for yourself in your busy week to avoid overdoing things.
Be conscious enough to realize that if you are starting to feel overly tired, slow down, see a doctor, and seriously consider changing your lifestyle or work habits. There were no doubt signs that Susan Boyle probably missed or purposely overlooked as she practiced for the TV show.
The problem with extreme exhaustion is that people usually push off their symptoms as results of their busy day, or lack of sleep, and ignore the tell-tale signs. I mean, if you get to the point where you’re collapsing on your desk and stumbling around the office, there is definitely a problem.
In all situations, with any symptoms, doctors will tell you to listen you your body. If it’s telling you to slow down, then slow down. It doesn’t lie. Perhaps Susan Boyle should take some advice from our No Insurance Club docs. Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.
