Keep an eye on your kids at all times. That is the one major lesson that the death of Mike Tyson’s daughter has taught us. No matter what you think your child is doing, it is imperative that you double check.
Living here in Arizona, as Mike Tyson does, we all know how important it is to watch your kids around the pool, especially during the ridiculously hot summer months. But the Tyson family, and the rest of us, learned a hard lesson this week as Tyson’s daughter, Exodus Tyson, got caught somehow in the cables from a treadmill machine.
The horribly sad part of this story is that Exodus Tyson was found by her 7-year-old brother. Can you imagine the terror this little boy must have felt as he walked into the workout room to see his young sister in that condition?
Exodus Tyson was rushed to emergency care, where she was place on life support. Upon hearing the news, Mike Tyson immediately flew home from Las Vegas where he has been promoting his upcoming film. Little Exodus Tyson was kept on life support for about 24 hours.
“We are grateful for the tremendous outpouring of love and prayers from all over the world,” Mike Tyson said in a statement released to the media. “There are no words to describe the tragic loss of our beloved Exodus. We ask you now to please respect our need at this very difficult time for privacy to grieve and try to help each other heal.”
The No Insurance Club simply wants to remind everyone out there to watch their children at all times, especially during the summer and around the pool. Such freak accidents, like Exodus Tyson’s, are a harsh reminder of the curiosity of little ones.
