As health insurance renegade, Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY), returned from the presidential campaign trail to Washington, she was deputized by Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (D-Mass.) Tuesday to run a special task force on health insurance reform. Kennedy is the chairman of the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee. Clinton will direct a committee working group on insurance coverage. Other Senators will oversee a subgroup on prevention and quality. Kennedy has made clear he intends to press Obama to deliver on campaign promises to broaden and improve America’s health systems. Health Care was one of Hillary Clinton’s biggest talking points on the campaign trail, calling the 47 million uninsured American’s “an outrage.” But she also was concerned about those with Health Insurance but who would get denied coverage. She wanted to open up the same Health Insurance plan available to congress and other federal workers. If a person could not afford Health Insurance the government would step in and provide tax credits. She did not believe in Barack Obama’s health care plan was good enough saying that it did not cover everyone. In the following video Hillary Clinton explains her Health Care plan.
