Kathleen Sebelius Health and Human Services Secretary defends Obama public health insurance plan. No surprise here since she was selected specifically to promote the Obama socialized health care agenda. Yet, she is facing strong opposition from Republican leaders, extreme criticism from powerful business groups and the majority of the legal working and voting citizens.
Sebelius stated to the House Energy and Commerce Committee a government-run health care option would increase choice and competition. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce begs to differ and stated in testimony that it would “gut the private market.”
Obama’s administration stepped up the campaign for comprehensive health care which is suppose to reduce costs and provide coverage for millions of uninsured. Obama had a meeting with a select few governors being referred to as a prime-time town hall meeting aired on the government owned ABC.
Looks like the working public will be taxed to pay for the lazy free loaders that won’t pay their own way. Another thing quite interesting is Obama says that Big Union members will not have to pay this health care tax. Please explain to me why would this group is exempt?
Appearing on ABC’s Good “Morning America” prime time ABC airing and other campaigns Obama not allowing any questions from the opposing side has stated that he expects to achieve his goals of implementing his agenda of socialized national health care. ABC offered an imbalanced prescription for America. Obama just rambled on and on with no specific direction and offered only vague responses. While Obama won’t delve into the nitty- gritty of what he thinks should be included and what if anything he will concede in health care reform legislation stating it is still too early to predict the outcome. Obama acknowledged that change will not come easily.
Obama … Is this the plan of rationing health care for thee but not for me?

Questions for Obama – Health Care Reform
OPINION by MICHAEL CANNON
June 24, 2009
· Mr. President, in your inaugural address and elsewhere, you said you are not interested in ideology, only what works. Economists Helen Levy of the University of Michigan and David Meltzer of the University of Chicago, where you used to teach, have researched what works. They conclude there is “no evidence” that universal health insurance coverage is the best way to improve public health. Before enacting universal coverage, shouldn’t you spend at least some of the $1 billion you dedicated to comparative-effectiveness research to determine whether universal coverage is comparatively effective? Absent such evidence, isn’t pursuing universal coverage by definition an ideological crusade?
· A draft congressional report said that comparative-effectiveness research would “yield significant payoffs” because some treatments “will no longer be prescribed.” Who will decide which treatments will get the axe? Since government pays for half of all treatments, is it plausible to suggest that government will not insert itself into medical decisions? Or is it reasonable for patients to fear that government will deny them care?
· You recently said the United States spends ‘almost 50 percent more per person than the next most costly nation. And yet… the quality of our care is often lower, and we aren’t any healthier.” Achieving universal coverage could require us to spend an additional 2 trillion over the next 10 years. If America already spends too much on health care why are we asking Americans to spend more?
Canadians questions the rationale of the Universal National Socialized Health Care proposal for Americans. Ms Holmes appearing as a guest on the Glenn Beck show made a prime case against government health care. She talked about nightmares of Socialized Health Care. She went on to say she personally knows of many cases that received the no-care health care in Canada that the individuals came across the border for treatment in the U.S. paying for out of their own pocket or die. America are you sure this what you really want?
