David Carradine, star of the cult 1970’s hit “Kung Fu,” was found dead in his Thailand hotel room. Carradine, also the star of another cult classic “Kill Bill,” spent his life behind the camera, staring in over 100 feature films. Carradine came from an acting family. His father, John Carradine, made a career playing creepy, eccentric characters in film and on stage. His brothers Keith, Robert and Bruce Carradine also became actors. Actress Martha Plimpton is Keith Carradine’s daughter. Though, admittedly, this has nothing to do with health insurance, the No Insurance Club was a fan of David Carradine’s and wish the Carridine family well.
