Living to 100 seems to be on everyone’s minds today. It’s the top searched item on Google this morning. The Living to 100 calculator is over at Livingto100.com, where you can actually take an online test to see how long you will live. Not much unlike the Death Risk Ranker that was popular a few weeks back, this online test will determine your life expectancy.

Death Risk Rankings

DeathRiskRankings.com, a new website that is creating quite a buzz, claims to be able to tell when you are going to die. Morbid sounding, I know, but growing to be extremely popular. With the new 3-D version of Final Destination coming out, the timing was perfect for Death Risk Rankings to launch.

According to Fox News, Death Risk Rankings calculates death rates based on data from the U.S. and Europe. Students from Carnegie Mellon University came up with the idea and converged as much information as they could regarding a person’s death risk based on age, weight, gender, location, and everything and anything else that you can think of.

Was there a secret death panel? Is that why the Senate Finance Committee withdrew its bill its bill the inclusion of advance care planning consultations, calling them too confusing? Maybe, or maybe the death panels were just a mock-up from Sarah Palin and Rush Limbaugh and the White House saw so many people running scared and confused that they gave in. Well, at least now the crazies at town hall meetings will have to scream about something else.

The Right’s scare tactic regarding death panels began only a short time ago, with Sarah Palin’s remarks both in front of the media spotlight and on her Facebook page. The death panels circus show was thanks to Palin’s comments, such as this one from her Facebook page where she uses her disabled son as a ploy in her fear tactic campaign.
