Bernie Madoff Dying of Cancer?
Sources are running around like chickens with their heads cut-off, trying to find the truth beneath these new Bernie Madoff rumors. Is he dying of cancer? Is it karma? The rumor mill is full of gossip from a Page Six article regarding Larry King’s million dollar loss in Madoff’s Ponzi scheme.
Several sources have told Page Six that Madoff himself has serious health issues. Some have even said the former money manager has pancreatic cancer. Madoff’s lawyers declined to comment.(Page Six)
As we all remember, Bernie Madoff broke the mold with his billion dollar Ponzi scheme that took everyone,
including celebrities, for millions. He is now serving time, 150 years to be exact, at the Butner, NC prison. He’s 71-years-old, which means the 150 years will come pretty quick.
Among Madoff’s cell-mates, many of them have been saying that Bernie Madoff pops up to 20 pills a day, and frequently speaks of dying. Inmates also claim that many different gangs are trying to recruit him, while the prison guards spend their time catering to his every need, which is interesting because it’s not like he’s going to have any money to leave them after he passes.
Pancreatic Cancer
Pancreatic cancer is one of the most deadly forms of cancer that you can possibly have. Over 35,000 Americans’ die each year from pancreatic cancer. That number represents nearly 80% of those diagnosed.
Out of all of the types of cancer, Pancreatic is one of the hardest to diagnose and treat. The symptoms are usually not noticeable until the cancer has been able to grow and spread. This “silent killer” can grow and spread through the body at rapid rates, which is why it is so hard do treat once it has been found. Once it has been found, most patients will feel pain, weight loss, or jaundice.
While Pancreatic cancer is difficult to diagnose, there are some risk factors that may be associated with it. Smoking, being overweight, and having a family history of this type of cancer could leave you at greater risk.
Treatment involves surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, drug therapy, and clinical trials, but, according to MayoClinic.com, the outlook for Pancreatic Cancer is never a good one.
Patrick Swayze Pancreatic Cancer Update
Not too long ago we wrote a blog here on No Insurance Club about Patrick Swayze’s battle with cancer and the rumors flying about that he had passed. Those rumors were obviously untrue, and Patrick Swayze is still alive and fighting the cancer. Recent photo’s of the Dirty Dancing star have shown that he’s gained weight and looks feistier than ever. Perhaps we will see Swayze in the remake of his classic.
