Arnold Schwarzenegger and other celebrities gathered in Los Angeles lobbying for healthcare reform.
Their basic message was that the United States health insurance system is not working. The United States spends more money per capita on healthcare than any other nation but lags in terms of quality.
They also gathered to show support for President Obama who wants to expand coverage to the 48 million uninsured.
California is home to more than 6 million uninsured American citizens and stands to benefit greatly from a Federal government run healthcare plan.
