But, did you know that we are about to dive right into an entirely new healthcare crisis? It’s already begun, as with the start of 2010 we are short 16,000 primary care physicians, according to The Wall Street Journal.

It’s become so twisted, so distorted that American workers are willing to work harder and make less if it means they and their families are medically insured.

Remember last week when we posted the blog about how a deal had been reached, how the public option had been dropped and the Medicare buy-in was the replacement? Well, apparently we were mistaken. The public option is out! Seriously. The option that had liberals excited about industry competition, and the moderates scared to death, has itself died. The public option will probably be dropped by the Senate in order to get the entire healthcare package passed. Without the public option, there should be no other hurdles to getting this healthcare reform bill passed.

According to recent reports, the swine flu is indeed on a bit of a decline. Over the past four weeks things have been quiet regarding H1N1 hospitalizations, vaccines, and hysteria. Children under the age of four-years-old are still at high risk, but overall things have calmed down.
